Office Assistant (Part Time)

Office Assistant

Reports To:  Senior Billing Specialist

FLSA Status:  Non-exempt

Schedule: Part time, approximately 15-20 hrs/week

Compensation: $11.00-$12.00 hourly

The Office Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Performance Physical Therapy administrative office with daily clerical tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the billing department.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work closely with the billing department to assist with any administrative or clerical tasks
  • Complete scanning, faxing, mailing and filing of pertinent and time sensitive documents
  • Conduct data entry tasks as necessary via Microsoft office systems
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and provide a notification when ordering may be necessary
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of supply room and workspace

For instance, we have nine therapists certified in dry needling, a relatively new procedure aimed at treating muscle pain. Recently, we broke ground on a 9,000 square-foot facility which will allow us to better serve our patients with complex medical histories and/or those who need on-going, long-term guidance and exercises. Our new location will feature our second Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill, a larger treatment area, gym, therapy pool and enable us to offer additional group exercise and wellness classes. Performance currently has 14 locations in Rhode Island and Southeast, MA.
